Design of a Web-Based Sales Information System for an Online Store

Abstract
Background The rapid advancement of information technology has encouraged businesses to shift to digital-based sales systems to improve efficiency and expand market reach. This study aims to design a web-based sales information system that can help online stores manage product data, transactions, and customers in a structured and real-time manner. The system development method used is the Waterfall model, which includes stages of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. During the testing phase, the system was evaluated using black-box testing to ensure each feature functions according to specifications. The research demonstrates that the system successfully assists store admins in managing product catalogs, processing orders, recording transactions through Google Sheets integration, and generating automated sales reports. The implementation of this system is expected to make the sales process more organized, faster, and more accurate, thereby increasing productivity and customer satisfaction.
