Design and Construction of a Website-Based Futsal Field Booking System at New Futsal Tembilahan

Abstract
The rapid development of information technology requires sports service businesses to provide fast, accurate, and easily accessible services to customers. NEW FUTSAL Tembilahan, a futsal court rental business located in Tembilahan, Indragiri Hilir, still applies a conventional booking system that has the potential to cause problems such as schedule conflicts, recording errors, and limited access to information for customers. This study aims to design and develop a web-based futsal court booking system that facilitates online reservations and displays real-time schedule availability. The research method employed is the Waterfall development model, which consists of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing stages. During the analysis stage, user and system requirements were identified, followed by the design of the system interface and database, web-based system implementation, and functional testing to ensure the system operates according to user needs. The results indicate that the developed system improves scheduling management effectiveness, reduces recording errors, and simplifies the booking process for customers. However, this study is limited by the absence of automated payment integration and testing that was conducted on a limited internal user scale. Overall, the implementation of a web-based futsal court booking system enhances service quality and operational efficiency at NEW FUTSAL Tembilahan.
