Implementation of a Web-Based Information Service System for Land and Building Transactions in Indragiri Hilir Regency
Main Article Content
Abstract
The demand for efficient and accessible digital systems in the property sector continues to grow, especially in regions with geographical challenges such as Indragiri Hilir Regency. This study aims to design and implement a web-based marketplace system that provides interactive and verified information services for land and building transactions. The system was developed using the Waterfall method and evaluated through the PIECES framework. Data collection involved observation, interviews, and a usability questionnaire distributed to 115 respondents. The results showed a 100% success rate in functionality and a usability score of 82.68%, categorized as very good. Key features such as Google Maps-based location visualization and direct WhatsApp communication proved effective in improving access and user interaction. Based on these findings, future system development is recommended to include legal property verification and user data protection features to enhance trust and security on a broader scale.
