Design of a Website-Based Online Registration System at State Middle School 04 Kemuning

Abstract
The process of registering new students at SMP NEGERI 4 KEMUNING is still done manually by filling out the registration form directly at the location, so it often causes long queues, inefficient document archiving, and errors in data recording. This study aims to design and build an online registration information system that can facilitate the administrative process of new student admissions at SMP NEGERI 04 KEMUNING, while improving the quality of service and work efficiency of school staff. the research method used is the waterfall model in the process of designing the system using the css, Java, python,html programming languages. The results of the design show that the system is able to handle the registration process starting from inputting prospective student data, uploading required files to verification by the school. It is hoped that with this system the registration process at SMP Negeri 04 Kemuning will be easier, faster, and more organised.
